Zach Heil
Dairy Arts Center
Zach is an incomparable gem to The Dairy Arts Center and surrounding organizations that he works with throughout the Boulder community. An artist at his core, Zach brings a positive energy, meticulous attention to detail, unrelenting work ethic, and a dedicated attitude to any and all tasks he is a part of. While he is officially a part of our patron services team, Zach is a constant fixture as part of the Visual Arts Program exhibition installation team, as well as a role model and team leader for our Kids at the Dairy educational programming. He is often the first person you see when you walk through the doors of The Dairy and always greets every patron and staff member with a smile and a willingness to assist.
A quiet leader, Zach is the type of person who will fall into the crowd (though he is hard to miss as he is very tall!) and not draw attention to himself, but will be the first person to arrive and the last one to leave, making sure everyone and everything has been addressed and taken care of. He is often asked to do things that stretch his abilities and always takes the opportunity in stride, learning the processes, sometimes failing, and then coming right back with a robust drive to get it right. He is invaluable as a part of The Dairy and we are proud to call him our unsung hero.
